The opening of Ukrainian Global School has become a real holiday!
Solemn red ribbon was cut by Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia Helen Vishnyakova and by Honorary President of the Ukrainian Global School – Minister of Education of Israel Shai Piron (2013-2014).
“I have been working in the field of education for over 10 years, – said Helen Vishnyakova, – one of my first projects was a kindergarten. There we taught children in a different way – prepared special innovative and progressive programs. There were constant requests from parents to continue this approach at school. And finally, together with the team we made dream come true. Ukrainian Global School is a project that we’re really proud of. ”
Honored guests were invited to greet pupils: Oksana Syroyd (Deputy Head of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine), Roman Greba (Deputy Minister of Education), Taras Kremin (Head of Subcommittee on Education, Committee of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education and Science), Joel Lion (Ambassador of State of Israel to Ukraine), Oleg Vyshniakov (Honorary Consul of State of Israel in Western Ukraine) and Solomon Amar (founder and general manager of international company AllStars-IT).
The first lesson for pupils was held by Honorary President of the school. He inspired pupils with his sincere and easy-to-understand speech:
“This is a place for realization and development of students and teachers, for cooperation with the same students and teachers in different parts of the planet. Ukrainian Global School is a hub, a platform for the development of international educational programs. The main thing that we all have to remember: Dreams are not just what we imagine before going to bed. Dreams are what we are making real here and now! “, – said Shai Piron.
